Mikka discovered her skill and passion for grooming and barbering from a very young age. Now with over a decade of cutting and barbering experience to her name, Gia earned her stripes at the prestigious Toni & Guy Studio in Yorkville, qualifying as a North American finalist for the Toni & Guy Photographic Awards in 2011 for Men’s Texture and Avant-Garde styles. Mikka won Best Barber of the Year and Best Multicultural Barber of the Year this year by EFE Magazine + VZN Awards.

Gia’s expertise with clippers, scissors, and razor blade have earned her a loyal customer base that have followed her into the upscale environment barbershop of THE GROOMED SOCIETY, and spread the word along the way.

When she is not giving the women and gentlemen of Toronto flawless haircuts, she can be found walking Queen West with her French Bulldog, Luigi, or behind the lens of her Nikon D700 shooting Clients and creatives for brands.
